Itinerary
Your friendly English-speaking Driver-Guide will arrive at your hotel’s reception desk bright and early at 6:10 am. From there, you’ll embark on a thrilling journey to Nairobi National Park in a comfy Safari Tour Van. The drive can take anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes, depending on how far your hotel is from the park and the traffic conditions at that time.
Once you arrive at the park, your Driver-Guide will handle the entry tickets. Then, the adventure begins as the game viewing roof of the vehicle is opened, allowing you to dive into the heart of the park for your Safari tour. As you travel through the park’s scenic forests and open grasslands, your Driver-Guide will be on the lookout for the park’s diverse wildlife. This exciting ‘mini’ Safari offers the chance to see majestic animals like Lions, endangered Rhino, Buffalo, Giraffe, and Zebra, along with over 200 bird species. The park’s stunning landscapes are beautifully set against the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline.
The game drive involves a leisurely ride along the park’s unpaved roads and tracks. When an animal of interest is spotted, the vehicle will pause, giving you ample time to admire the wildlife. Throughout the drive, your Driver-Guide will share fascinating information about the park and its animals, ensuring a rich learning experience without the use of a loudspeaker. The game viewing roof offers an excellent vantage point, but you can also enjoy the views from the large windows while seated. By noon, you’ll exit the park and be comfortably transferred back to your hotel or to your chosen drop-off location.
